Senate resumes, adjourns plenary for Adeleke.

The Senate resumed from its two-week break on Tuesday but adjourned plenary to Wednesday to mourn a member of the Senate, Isiaka Adeleke.

President of the Senate, Senator Bukola Saraki, who presided over a short session, asked the lawmakers dress appropriately for a valedictory session in honour of the former governor of Osun State on Wednesday.                                After plenary was adjourned, the lawmakers proceeded to the condolence register placed at the entrance of the Senate chamber to register their feelings and last moments with their dead colleague.
